Roof Vent
VMAX-CATHEDRAL
Special order: Custom made to the slope of the roof.
An insulated duct installed on the ridge of the roof to assure an efficent ventilation between the joists of the roof.
Ventilation Maximum designed and engineered a ventilation system in combination with the VMAX-301-12 ventilator that will allow, due to the ventilators exceptional drawing power, to draw fresh air from the soffits up between each rafter (between the insulation and underside of the roof deck) into an assembled weather tight duct system. It will then be extracted out the ventilator, thus, allowing for continuous fresh air flow throughout the attic space and preventing heat and moisture buildup from deteriorating the structural integrity of the building & its components.
Another valuable feature to this system is that it has been designed and developed to withstand the harshest weather conditions that Mother Nature could offer including hail & snow accumulations, thus, finally, giving the home owner peace of mind.

RIDGE FLASHING
This special flashing is installed directly on the ridge of the roof allowing for a perfect balance of ventilation and extra height for the heavy snow regions or forest areas. It allows for a fast and easy installation onto any roofing materials whether it be asphalt shingles or metal roofs. It can be manufactured to fit all dimensions, and can be made of any raw metal of your choice.
- When ordering this flashing, the slope is required.

EXTENSIONS
If your roof ventilator is not high enough. We have an extension from 12″ to 72″. Available Colours: Black, Brown, and Grey.

MEDIA FILTER
If snow infiltration is a problem. The Media Filter can be used in residential, commercial and industrial applications. A loss of ventilator efficiency of approximately 20% should be considered.
RETENTION PAN METAL
Used in conjunction with the media filter. The retention pan constructed of galvanized steel and includes four corner straps for installation.
COUNTER FLASHING
Counter flashings are made of galvanized steel to the exact size of the ventilator’s body and/or cathedral system. Counter flashing are required for steel roof installations.
